Situation
- The Siemens Microelectronics facility at North Tyneside, United Kingdom, provided a high performance, semi-conductor production opportunity.
- The modern purpose-built facility was completed in January 1997, following a two year construction project.
- The plant produced silicon wafers for one year prior to closure and subsequently the site was stripped back to base-build ready for the fitting of new equipment.

- Binswanger arranged multimillion dollar sale of a state-of-the-art, 735,500 sq. ft. (70,000 sq. m) high-tech complex on 102.5 acres (41.5 hectares) world-class semiconductor facility to Amkor Technology, Inc.
