Charlotte, NC - July 20, 2010 – Binswanger, on behalf of its client, Fieldcrest Road Properties is pleased to announce the leasing of 109,000 sq. ft. to KDH Defense Systems. Doug Faris, Senior Vice President of Binswanger’s Charlotte, North Carolina office negotiated the $1.1 million transaction.

Established in 2003, KDH Defense Systems is a full integrated contract manufacturer and a leading designer and supplier of military personal protective equipment. The company’s headquarters in Johnstown, Pennsylvania also houses their cutting, sewing and ballistic design operations. Their second facility in Eden, North Carolina, formerly occupied by Pluma, will provide additional cutting and sewing capacity.
