Britainy Stephens joined Binswanger’s Commercial Sales Division in 2022 after working for several years as an independent residential real estate agent with Keller Williams. She also briefly ran her own property management company to support the leasing and property management needs of the developers she worked with.

Britainy is skilled in running comparative market analyses and providing her clients with accurate data to help inform their business decisions. She has successfully navigated the hurdles of running a small business while also learning the ins and outs of residential development in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Britainy received her Bachelor of Arts in Afro-American Studies from Smith College where she also fulfilled leadership roles as vice president and president of her campus’ Black Student Alliance and Treasurer for her chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with her Master of Social Policy and Practice, Britainy was offered a job at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center where she performed compassionate social advocacy services for cancer patient groups in a fast-paced complex healthcare setting. In collaboration with healthcare administrators and physicians, she was able to help form Jefferson’s bone marrow transplant education program which markedly improved post-transplant patient outcomes. Britainy took her work with underserved populations further by co-publishing two white papers on the psychosocial support of cancer patients and medical staff and founding Jefferson’s first support group for African Americans with Multiple Myeloma.

Britainy has a passion for helping others and volunteering her time. She has competed in multiple marathons and had the honor of being a part of the planning committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s largest annual fundraising event. In her free time, Britainy also enjoys playing tennis, baking, and caring for her Boston Terrier.
