Private Equity Strategist Carr Davis Joins Binswanger’s Board of Experts to Expand Advisory Reach in Investment & Innovation

PHILADELPHIA, PA – JUNE 12, 2024 – Binswanger, a highly specialized leader in commercial real estate solutions, today announced that Carr Davis, a recognized innovator in private equity, intellectual property, and tech-driven investment strategy, has joined its Board of Experts. Now comprised of more than 20 distinguished professionals—and continuing to grow—the Board serves as a cross-disciplinary advisory arm helping clients solve complex challenges at the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, technology, and capital markets.

Davis brings a unique blend of experience spanning investment banking, software development, risk management, and corporate monetization. He currently serves as Of Counsel to Patrick | Doerr, where he leads the firm’s IP Monetization & Diligence Group, and as a Senior Advisor at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips, a global investment bank specializing in media, marketing, and technology M&A. He is also a partner at ISMS Applications, where he helped lead the recent sale of the company’s AI/NLP compliance platform to ProcessUnity, a premier player in risk management.

He co-founded FDCH eMedia, a real-time B2B content distribution company later acquired by Congressional Quarterly, and was a Partner at ASC Partners, which was acquired by VIQ Solutions in 2020. He has negotiated licensing and IP deals with some of the most prominent content providers in the world, including AP, Bloomberg, Dow Jones, and Thomson Reuters, and advised firms such as Marlin Equity Partners and Exostar (a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners).
