Binswanger is pleased to announce that Eugene Garcia, President of ECM Energy Management Services, has joined the firm’s Board of Experts. Garcia brings more than 20 years of experience in power generation, wholesale energy markets, and ISO navigation, further enhancing Binswanger’s ability to advise clients on complex energy strategies.

Garcia is widely recognized for helping large, energy-intensive organizations develop and execute strategic approaches to power procurement, risk management, and energy cost optimization. His expertise lies in navigating U.S. Independent System Operator (ISO) markets to secure capacity, manage price volatility, and support long-term operational growth.

Throughout his career, Garcia has advised Fortune 500 companies, data centers, healthcare systems, REITs, and financial institutions on building resilient and scalable energy strategies. His work integrates wholesale market participation, commodity hedging, and demand-side solutions into cohesive, financially driven frameworks that align with corporate performance objectives.

“Eugene’s deep understanding of ISO markets and his ability to translate complex energy dynamics into actionable financial strategies make him a valuable addition to our Board of Experts,” said Ken Anthony, Managing Director of Technical Services at Binswanger. “His insights will be especially impactful for clients navigating rising energy demands and increasing market volatility.”

Garcia’s background also includes early-career experience designing HVAC systems and power generation projects both domestically and internationally. This technical foundation informs his comprehensive perspective on how energy systems operate across grid and regulatory environments.

Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and an MBA in Finance from Northeastern University.

As a member of Binswanger’s Board of Experts, he will provide strategic guidance to clients facing increasingly complex energy challenges, particularly those with significant power requirements and exposure to wholesale electricity markets.
