Philadelphia storage portfolio sells for $32.65M

Alterra Property Group paid $32.65 million for a four-building portfolio of outside storage properties along Essington Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia. The portfolio included: 6815 Essington Ave., a 7-acre property with a 31,000-square-foot building leased to Hertz, Enterprise and Dent Wizard; 6717- 21 Essington Ave., a 3.73-acre property with a 16,913-square-foot building where Amazon, Maaco and We Buy Any Car are tenants; 6724 Norwitch Drive, a 1.1-acre lot leased to Amazon; and 6729-33 Essington Ave., which is a 6.69-acre site with a 37,762-square-foot structure leased to Amazon and JD Byrider. Chris Pennington, Mike Torsiello and John Cook of Binswanger Commercial Real Estate arranged the sale.
